1900 US Federal Census: Jacob Bacigalupo

The image from the 1900 Census below shows the families living at 166 Martin. Family 7 is the Jacob Bacigalupo family. It is interesting that box 10 indicates that Jacob and Theresa have only been married for 6 years. Box 11 indicates that she has only two children. So Felice and Amelia must have a different mother. In fact we know from Felice's death certificate that his mother's name is Celestine Lagomarcino. I suspect she may have died either during Amelia's birth in 1890 or shortly after since Jacob married Theresa in 1894. We also learn that Jacob immigrated in 1885 and Theresa in 1894. The ship's manifest for Felice mentions that he did not come over until 1903, so we don't find him with the family in the US at this time.
